We Were There

What does it mean to truly have confidence in your faith? That is the question at the heart of this powerful exploration of 1 John. We live in a world overflowing with competing voices, philosophies, and teachings, all claiming to offer truth, meaning, and life. From ancient Gnostic ideas that salvation comes through hidden inner knowledge, to modern movements that add to or twist the gospel, the pressure to look somewhere other than Christ for answers has never gone away. And because of that testimony, we do not need to search within ourselves or chase after secret wisdom. We can have complete confidence that eternal life is found in Jesus alone. If we have the Son, we have life. That is not complicated. That is the gospel, and it is enough.
